Helping people & organisations transform and be better versions of themselves
– get to know me a little better
I’m in my early-mid thirties (not quite mid yet!) and I live in the typically English village of Harrietsham in the glorious garden of England. Couldn’t pick many better places to live really – check this view out:
I’m committed to ‘do life, better’.
That means I work in places, for organisations and with people where I can make a difference.
My passion is in helping people & organisations transform and be better versions of themselves.
Currently, I’m working in local government in a role where I support my colleagues, the organisation and the community to do life, better. I feel honoured and privileged to be paid to manage a team that “informs, listens to and learns from users of services to help them influence and drive change in services, knowledge and behaviour”.
This just connects to everything I believe in.
I’m also the Founder of Burning Leaf Creatives – a creative brand and web design studio. During my work with Burning Leaf I get to use the power of creativity to make futures better today.
My non-working life
I have an amazing family and treasure every moment that I get to spend with them – especially when it doesn’t feel like it is enough.
I fill my time away from the office and at home with creative outlets – things like drawing, designing stuff, writing my blog, trying to write poetry, getting inspired and then sharing that inspiration, reading, learning new things and following quite a few different sports. You notice I said following – I’m also honest!
My Superpower is Creative Thinking (check out yours at superpowers.sypartners.com).
I am a Questioner in Gretchen Rubin’s tendency quiz (check out yours).
And, time for a confession, I also love a good bit of TV cooking shows – Jamie Oliver, Great British Menu, MasterChef and quite a few more.
Oh, and I’m a coffee addict, so I can usually be found in a local coffee house. If you want to grab a coffee with me to talk through stuff, give me a shout.

Hopefully we can connect soon.
