Leadership as it should be

Being a leader is a huge responsibility – not only do you need to look after yourself, but you are also responsible for taking care of those in your charge.

Being able to use that responsibility, and privilege, can be tiring and draining. But it can also immensely rewarding.

And this example from Starbucks proves the difference that real purpose-driven, human-led leadership can make.

During the times that we are in, videos such as this make me feel good about humanity again.

Yes, I get that Starbucks had some good publicity out of this, but the difference they made to the lives of those people living in New Orleans is so, so powerful.
